‘I moved to West Hunsbury over thirty years ago, brought up three children here, love living here and have no desire to move anywhere else

I love the area with its beautiful lake, lovely parkland, variety of birds and wildlife and it’s large country park encompassing an historical Hill Fort and an Ironstone Railway. As a dog walker it is an especially great place to live!

I have had a varied career and work life, working in financial services, education, local government and latterly for a local charity. I am now retired from full time work but enjoy doing gardening jobs for those less able and running the Friendship Club (previously the 60+ Club) in West Hunsbury which I helped to set up in 2018.

I enjoy and have seen the benefits of volunteer work which I have done for many years and am an active, community minded individual .

I became a Parish Councillor in 2015 and am privileged to still be a part of the Parish Council . I am proud of what it has achieved over the past ten years and look forward to continuing to play a part in keeping West Hunsbury a lovely ,safe place to live in, helping to keep our parks and green spaces well maintained, bringing our community together and enhancing our community spirit.’
